The role
- Inspect, maintain and repair electrical and refrigeration systems.
- Handle freezers, ice cream display cabinets and cold-storage equipment.
- Check equipment temperatures and operating conditions.
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance.
- Handle technical issues at stores, warehouses, factories or partner sales locations.
- Install, relocate and commission equipment when opening new sales locations.
- Monitor repair histories and equipment condition.
- Take inventory of technical supplies and components.
- Report the causes of issues and propose preventive measures.
- Coordinate with operations to minimise business interruption time.
What we are looking for
- Graduated from an intermediate college/college programme in Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Mechatronics or a related field.
- Experience in refrigeration and air-conditioning repairs.
- Understanding of freezer, compressor and refrigeration system principles.
- Ability to read basic electrical diagrams.
- Own means of transport.
- Willingness to handle issues as they arise.
